Meet our Occupational Therapists!

Katelyn Lauzier, OTR/L

Founder

Katy is the Founder and Lead Occupational Therapist at Bloom! She has been a healthcare professional for more than 10 years, beginning in the hospital setting, and served as Director of Rehabilitation before focusing her passion on pediatric occupational therapy. Katy transitioned from working with adults to pediatrics in 2019 and has worked in public education for the Santa Cruz County Office of Education since 2021, before opening the doors to Bloom in June 2023. Katy earned a BA degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MS degree in Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt University. She is a certified Occupational therapist by the California Board of Occupational Therapy and is registered by the National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Katy and her husband are raising two daughters in Santa Cruz; she is also an avid runner, practices yoga, and enjoys downhill skiing.

Olive Llamas

Olive joined Bloom as an Occupational Therapist in the Winter of 2025!

She is a certified Occupational Therapist by the California Board of Occupational Therapy and is registered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. In Spring of 2014, Olive earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University, California, before completing a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Brunel University in London, England in 2022.

Before earning her Master’s degree, Olive worked as an after-school program director for the Boys and Girls Club of Oceanside, CA. She previously worked as an OT with the Discovery Bay school district, has clinical experience working with adults in the acute rehabilitation settings in hospitals in London, England, and used to coach youth soccer, giving her experience with a wide range of ages and populations. 

Alexandra has been advocating for and empowering children since she began working with neurodivergent preschoolers and families in 2012. This early work experience led her to occupational therapy, a career that enables her to fully express her creativity, playfulness, holistic mindset, and passion for offering neurodiversity-affirming care. She has worked as a school-based occupational therapist since 2020 and joined Bloom in early 2025. She holds advanced certifications from the STAR Institute for Sensory Processing, the Size Matters Handwriting Program, and the Learn Play Thrive approach to autism. In addition, Alexandra is a yoga instructor and loves teaching multi-sensory kids yoga classes. Alexandra recently became a mom to an adventurous baby girl. They spend most of their time exploring the outdoors with their dog, Rooney Rainbow. 

Anna Payne

Anna joined Bloom as an Occupational Therapist in the summer of 2025!

She is a certified Occupational Therapist by the California Board of Occupational Therapy and is registered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. In Spring of 2020, Anna earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies from California State University, Channel Islands, before completing a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University in 2024.

Before earning her Master’s degree, Anna worked as a respite caregiver for children with special needs while completing her studies, where she discovered her passion for supporting children and families with special needs. She also has clinical experience working with adults in the acute rehabilitation setting at a local hospital, giving her experience with a wide range of ages and populations.

Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Anna is committed to serving her local community. Outside of work, she enjoys playing sports, traveling, line dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
